JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Through an expedited Certificate of Need review, the Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee approved a single request to replace a biplane angiography unit.
Boone Hospital Center in Columbia was approved for $1,290,549 to replace a biplane angiography unit.
Their current unit is 14-years-old, which is well beyond its life of eight years established by the American Hospital Association. The manufacturer has issued an end-of-service notice for this machine.
Expedited reviews are done through an email ballot with committee members. The next full CON meeting is scheduled for May 7, 2018 and the next expedited ballot is scheduled for May 22, 2018.
