JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — On May 4, 2018, Gov. Eric Greitens made 10 appointments to boards and commissions.
Reid Forrester, of Jefferson City, was appointed to the Labor and Industrial Relations Committee.
Forrester served as Chief of Staff in the Office of the Missouri Lieutenant Governor from 2014 to 2017. Prior to working in the Lieutenant Governor’s office, he spent nearly a decade with the Missouri Department of Corrections. Forrester began his career in public service in Poplar Bluff, Mo., where he was a member of the Poplar Bluff City Council and served as Mayor for two years.
Michael Frazier, of Marshfield, was appointed to the Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council.
Frazier is the General Manager of Web-Co Custom Industries, Inc., a shelte workshop in Marshfield, Mo., which was established due to the efforts of parents and concerned citizens who recognized the need to provide training and dignified employment opportunities to people with disabilities. Frazier is a board member of the OACAC Area Board, the Webster County OACAC Board, and the OHRD Solid Waste Management Board. He is also a member of Gideons International Marshfield Camp, Marshfield Schools A+ Program Board, the Boy Scouts, and Timber Ridge Baptist Church.
Matt Hearne, of St. Louis, was appointed to the Missouri Commission on Human Rights.
Hearne is a Managing Partner of the Hearne & Bendick law firm in Clayton. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hillsdale College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo Law School.
Trina Hollomon, of Caruthersville, was appointed as the Pemiscot County Public Administrator.
Hollomon is the Resource Center Manager for the Missouri Family Support Division, where she has worked for more than 25 years. She serves as a board member of the Caruthersville Parks & Recreation Board of Directors and the Caruthersville Country Club Board of Directors. Hollomon is a Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Caruthersville. She will begin serving as the Pemiscot County Public Administrator on June 1.
Sherry Jones, of Dawn, was reappointed to the State Fair Commission.
Jones has been a member of the State Fair Commission since 2012. She is employed by C.D. Jones Land & Cattle Co. Jones is involved in the Livingston County 4-H and FFA Fair Association, the Chillicothe FFA, and Southwest Livingston R-I School. She serves on the Board of Directors for FCS Financial and the Livingston County Farm Bureau Board. Jones received her associate’s degree in marketing and finance from Central Missouri State University.
Crissy Mayberry, of Millersville, was appointed to the Missouri State Foster Care and Adoption Board.
Mayberry is the Executive Director of Hope for One More, a non-profit children’s home that provides emergency shelter for foster children in Cape Girardeau and surrounding counties. She serves as a STARS Panel Advisory Member, as Chairman of the Children’s Coalition, and as Chairman of the Southeast Regional Foster Care and Adoption Board.
Melanie McDole, of Independence, was appointed to the Missouri State Foster Care and Adoption Board.
McDole is a Business Rental Sales Executive for Enterprise Holdings, Inc. She is involved with FosterAdopt Connect and United Way. McDole holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Jeff Miyake, of Springfield, was appointed to the Missouri Commission on Human Rights.
Miyake retired as the President and CEO of DairiConcepts. He has more than 20 years of management experience in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, including more than five years as a bishop. Miyake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in food biochemistry from the University of California-Davis.
Pat Thomas, of Jefferson City, was appointed to the State Fair Commission.
Thomas is the Chief of Staff for State Senator Brian Munzlinger. She holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Thomas is the treasurer of the Missouri Republican Party State Committee, and she was a 10-year member of 4-H.
James Wilson, of Anabel, was appointed to the State Fair Commission.
Wilson is a manager/operator for Hartung Brothers, Inc. in Macon County. He serves as county president of the Macon County Farm Bureau, as chairman of the Macon County Enhanced 9-11, and as a board member of the Macon County Fair. Wilson is a graduate of Macon County R-1 High School.
