Diane Franklin highlights her conservativism in first ad
CAMDENTON, Mo. – Republican Rep. Diane Franklin launched her first ad in her bid to replace Sen. Dan Brown in Senate District 16 on Friday, called “One Tough Grandma.”
“I’m a gun-totin’ and God-fearin’ grandma who is ready to fight for our conservative values in the State Senate”, Franklin said. “I’m a proud military mom, champion trap shooter, mother, grandmother and small business owner. My conservative values have been shaped from all of these experiences.”
Franklin currently serves as the state representative from Camden County. She has been endorsed by Missouri Right to Life and the Susan B. Anthony List in the race for State Senate because of her role in passing significant pro-life policy reforms while serving in the House.
“Growing up, I worked in my parent’s bait shop. I learned early on the value of hard work and how to balance a budget. In the State Senate, I’m going to cut government waste, continue to be a strong pro-life advocate, and ensure not a single dime of taxpayer money is going to support illegal immigrants or sanctuary cities in this state.”
The primary for State Senate will be held on August 7.
