Willis joins Catalyst’s government relations team

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Catalyst founder and managing principal Danny Pfeifer has announced David Willis is joining the firm as a government relations specialist. Willis, a veteran of leadership staff in the Missouri House, brings more than a decade of experience working in the Missouri Capitol.

“David Willis is a highly-respected professional who has a deep understanding of the strategy, tactics, and process of governing, public policy and regulation,” Pfeifer said. “He shares our vision for executing innovative strategies on behalf of our innovative clients. David’s extensive experience in Missouri state government and policy will add incredible value to our team.”

Willis joins Danny Pfeifer, Greg Porter, Alex Eaton, Becky Lohmann, Michael Steelman and Derek Hein on the government affairs team.

Willis previously served as chief of staff to Missouri House Speaker Todd Richardson. He spent more than a decade working on legislative leadership staffs in the Missouri House of Representatives including working directly with the House Budget Chairman and three previous Missouri speakers. Willis brings to Catalyst extensive expertise on issues including education, agriculture, economic development, Medicaid, disruptive technology, a variety of regulatory issues and the state budget. Willis is a graduate of Washington University and the University of Missouri.
