This Week in the Missouri PSC: Oct. 10, 2018

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Public Service Commission made short work of this week’s agenda meeting, which lasted less than 15 minutes in total.

The first two orders of the day dealt with the commission’s revisions, rescissions, and modifications of PSC rules.

One order dealt with annual report submission requirements for water utilities and the other order dealt with a gas safety rule. Both changes were approved unanimously.

The next three agenda items related to the 2017 federal tax cut.

The PSC issued an order scheduling a conference regarding procedures for consideration of an accounting authority order for Summit Natural Gas Missouri, Inc. A procedural conference was set with KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company and a conference regarding procedures for consideration of an accounting authority order was set for Ameren Missouri.

The PSC also unanimously approved Kansas City Power & Light Company and KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company to remove the “solar rebate application” information from their respective Net Metering Tariffs.
