Nicole Rainey will oversee the advancement of ACLU of Missouri’s development program
ST. LOUIS – The ACLU of Missouri has hired Nicole Rainey to oversee the implementation and advancement of the organization’s development program, a vast necessity in protecting the rights of all Missourians.
Nicole Rainey is an expert communicator with over a decade of experience in fund development, community building, marketing, and proposals. She is a strong believer in giving a voice to the community.
“One thing that I love about the ACLU is that it is powered by the people. Our donors and members have a voice,” said Nicole Rainey, Director of Development, ACLU of Missouri. “People are very emotional about the current political climate and the ACLU gives them a platform to make a difference.”
Prior to working at the ACLU, Nicole served as Senior Grants and Communications Manager for College Bound, and as Grant Writer for Catholic Charities of St. Louis. At College Bound, she managed a portfolio of donors that included individuals, corporations, charitable foundations, and government entities. She also led the organization’s marketing and messaging efforts.

Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo.
