This Week in the Governor’s Office: Week of Nov. 5, 2018

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri’s 57th Governor kicked off the first full week of November in an even-numbered year by hitting the campaign trail for the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate.

Gov. Mike Parson traveled the state alongside Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley, making a final push the campaign the day before the election. The last-minute stumping from GOP heavily weights, including President Donald Trump, helped Hawley defeat incumbent-U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Parson kicked off another session of a management training program to develop leaders within the 16 departments. The second session of The Missouri Way is aimed to equip supervisors, managers, and department leadership with the necessary management skills to better lead change and improve services for the citizens of Missouri.
