This Week in the Governor’s Office: Week of Dec. 10, 2018

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — This week, the Governor of Missouri hit the road advocating for a range of issues including workforce development and fighting the opioid crisis.

On Monday, Gov. Mike Parson kicked off the week with a Computer Science work day hosted by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

And on Tuesday, Parson visited one site of the new drug take-back program that is coming to Missouri. He noted the program is another tool in fighting the opioid epidemic. He also toured Hunter Engineering.

On Wednesday, he was in St. Louis for the transfer 97 acres in North St. Louis for the new NGA western Headquarters. He also hopped on the radio.

Parson welcomed Missouri’s wreaths from Wreaths Across America on Thursday.

And he met with Joplin students on Friday along with making six appointments.
