Women Legislators of Missouri raising funds for graduating high schoolers

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — A bipartisan group of female lawmakers in the Show-Me State are looking to raise money for graduating high school students across the state.

The Women Legislators of Missouri will be hosting an event next week to fund eight scholarships. The WLM Scholarship fund offers a $500 scholarship award to one graduating high school senior in each of Missouri’s 8 congressional districts.

To raise money for the awards, the Women Legislators of Missouri will be hosting a fundraiser — consisting of food, drinks, a silent auction, and a horticulture demonstration — on February 26, 2019 at Husch Blackwell Strategies, 101 West High Street, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
