Division of Employment Security launches mobile friendly version of unemployment data system

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Filing an unemployment claim or even paying unemployment taxes on the go just got easier. The Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations Division of Employment Security (DES) recently released a mobile-friendly version of UInteract, the Division’s complete unemployment insurance online system.

“Being mobile-friendly, UInteract is now aligned with the lifestyle of today’s consumer, giving them the convenience of not only conducting business after hours but also on the go,” remarks DES Director Chris Slinkard. “With the launch of the new advanced mobility features of UInteract, Missouri government has become even more accessible to businesses and workers.”

Launched in 2016, UInteract allows unemployed workers 24/7 access to file an unemployment claim, make a payment request, check payment status, view account history, update contact and payment information, or even file an appeal. Having 24/7 access also allows employers to make payments, view rates and benefit charges, protest claims, and receive and respond to correspondence electronically when it is convenient for them.
