Nathan Bowen gears up campaign for HD 157

Nathan Bowen, an insurance agent and native from Pierce City, announced his bid for State Representative of the 157th district.

“I am running for State Representative because I believe in the conservative values and hard work of the people in Lawrence County. “My family and friends are from Lawrence county, and it is my wholehearted duty to make sure that all the people in this district are well represented.”

Bowen, a sixth-generation resident of Lawrence County, indicated residents are concerned about crime, infrastructure, economy, and agriculture. He wants to bring fresh practical solutions to the issues people in the county face.

“Southwest Missouri has always been home and holds a special place in my heart. This area has come a long way from its founding, but there’s more to do,” said Bowen. “We need to keep our communities safe, bring jobs to our towns, support our local schools and always be a friend to the farmers.”

Bowen has been active with the county in many organizations and charitable work.  Running for office is another way he is giving back to the community and its members who have given to him. In addition to insurance, he is involved in Missouri Farm Bureau, National Rifle Association, and Lawrence County Republicans.
