Release: Missouri GOP Vice-Chair Endorses Schaefer for Attorney General

MOBERLY, MO – Missouri Republican Party Vice-Chairman, Valinda Freed, today announced her endorsement of Senator Kurt Schaefer in his bid to become his party’s nominee for Attorney General.  Freed has been a longtime party activist and advocate for many conservative issues.

“Senator Schaefer has been my senator, a conservative leader, a pro-life champion, and a fighter for the values that I and millions of Missourians share.  I have no doubt that he will take his experience as a prosecutor into the Attorney General’s office to fight vigorously for our rights and freedoms against anyone who would infringe upon them, and I encourage conservatives across our state to stand with Senator Schaefer,” said Freed.

When told about Freed’s endorsement, Schaefer said, “I am honored to have Valinda’s endorsement.  It means a lot to me that as someone who has spent so many years turning a blue county red and a blue state red, Valinda knows what it takes to beat Democrats, and I am thankful that she believes me to be the best candidate to end the 24-years of Democrat abuse of the Attorney General’s office.”
