Auditor Nicole Galloway has begun an audit of the city of Fairview, located in Newton County in southwest Missouri.
Through Dec. 31, 2020, Missouri has received $3.275 billion and spent $2.26 billion of this assistance. In December, the state spent $310.9 million.
The most recent audit of Dade County was issued in May 2018, with the county receiving an overall rating of poor.
The most recent audit of Macon County government was completed in 2017, with the county receiving an overall performance rating of good.
