The Missouri Times is proud to recognize Senator Roy Blunt as our 2021 Statesman of the Year.
The endorsement comes on the heels of Senator Josh Hawley's backing of Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler in the race.
Congressman Billy Long came out swinging at Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler following the event.
"Efforts to influence maps to benefit a particular candidacy should be avoided."
Sources said Congressman Jason Smith will seek to lead the House Ways and Means Committee.
"Good for China, bad for Missouri," is a line Olympics-watching Missourians might hear frequently this week.
"Lucas Kunce understands the importance of transitioning to a clean energy economy for the safety and security of our country and our communities," the group said.
Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz jumped into the U.S. Senate race in November.
Since launching his U.S. Senate campaign, Attorney General Eric Schmitt has brought in more than $5 million between his campaign and PAC.
