#BarklageCup Round 2 Results

Bandwidth by the Barrel

(1) Rosenbaum 58% vs. (9) Calhoun 42% – Close battle with the public radio grizzled veteran over coming the KMOX rising star. Kinda of reminds you of the battle of the news teams from Anchorman.

(5) Milhaven 48% vs. (13) Charton 52% – The Cinderella run continues for Charton. All he does is knock off radio stars. Now he runs into his first print opponent in what will be a knock down drag out.

(11) Grace 66% vs. (14) Felts 34% – The #barklagecup breeds innovation and many are pointing to Grace’s use of a promised menu item at Cork for this convincing victory in advancing to the Sweet 16.

(2) Yokley 52% vs. (10) Payne 48% – A nail biter to the finish with Yokley winning the battle of the young bulls.

(1) Dueker 70% vs. (9) Temple 30%  Well the champ is still in the building touching 70% against Stoddard County’s favorite son. This loss will be a blight against Puxico by those from Advance, but not quite the blight the goat burgers are.

(4) Mazur 43% vs. (12) Shackelford 57% – UPSET ALERT! Megan Shackelford drops the Godafther of nerd internet tournaments. Many are questioning Mazur’s failure to carry his home turf in MissourAH, and pointing to his lack of Cardinal fandom for this loss.

(3) MSK 45% vs. (11) Harris 55% – Harris jumping up and stealing one from the higher seeded MSK. Clearly Braxton was focused on his own matchup and couldn’t work the internets for his boss.

(2) Callow 49% vs. (7) Kelly 51% – Two titans collided and we saw a #barklagecup classic. Heaven help Harris if the both left this fight as friends and team up on him now.

MissourEE

(1) Mayor Slay 53% vs. (9) Cierpiot 47% – Cierpiot nearly pulls off the upset against the Missouri politician with the best internet following in the state. The gentleman from Jackson will be seeded higher in 2016. If, at his advanced age, he is still able to compete…

(4) Diehl 51% vs. (12) Silvey 49%   House vs. Senate matchup that came down to the wire. If the vice-chair of the senate budget committee wasn’t distracted this week with appropriating, this could have been an upset.

(3) Schmitt 54% vs. (11) LaFaver 46% – This was a fun one to watch and the LaFaver brought heat against the senior senator, and the gentleman from Jackson threw everything but the kitchen sink and the bald spot at the senator (there are no gentlemen in the senate), but Schmitt held onto advance to the Sweet 16.

(10) Dempsey 46% vs. (15) Cornejo 54% – Well Cornejo may have won this battle, but if there is one law in Missouri politics, its don’t get caught on the wrong side of Tom Dempsey in St. Charles County. See if Cornejo gets a table at Pio’s on a Saturday night any time soon.

MissourAH

(1) Kinder 59% vs. (9) McGaugh 41% – The representative is becoming a #barklagecup veteran, but keep in mind Governor Kinder is actually a veteran of working with #barklage. We suspect that Kinder used the same super power it takes to get David on the phone to win this second round battle.

(4) Richardson 49.47% vs. (5) Rowden 50.53% – Wow, this one was close. Many see this as foreshadowing next week’s legislative softball tournament with Rowden continuing his MVP caliber play on an undefeated team.

(6) Jones 31% vs. (14) Dieckhaus 69% – Ok, its very apparent here that the historic majority-making HRCC army commanded by General Dieckhaus is a force to be reckoned with in the #barklagecup. Seems like a wise move to keep the team in game-ready condition by having them scrimmage in this tournament.

(2) Koster 48% vs. (7) Haahr 52% – Big time #barklagecup upset. It actually makes sense that these two would end a #barklagecup face off in a close race. They are both lawyers, they are both well spoken and they both know what its like to be rising stars in the Missouri Republican Party.
