JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Hundreds of people tweeted thousands of times Monday evening using #mogovdebate, causing it to trend on Twitter in the area. According to Keyhole, the hashtag was seen over 2.6 million times by Twitter users the day of the debate.
While the Missouri Times hosted and live tweeted the debate, audience members were stole the social media show, taking their support and observations to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
