New Brunner ad attacks Greitens’ Democratic past

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The clash between John Brunner and Eric Greitens continued Tuesday when Brunner released an ad attacking Greitens for more liberal policy stances and his past as a Democrat.

The ad starts with the narration talking about Greitens “slick ads” before it moves into his opposition to SJR 39, praise for President Barack Obama and his attendance at the 2008 Democratic National Convention where Obama was nominated.

Here’s the transcript:

Eric Greitens burst upon the scene with his slick ads. Then we learned the truth Greitens opposes religious liberty but favors gay marriage and amnesty for illegals. Greitens praised Obama’s vision and leadership while asking for billions and stimulus spending. The Missouri Times says only months ago Greitens was a Democrat, one so stridently liberal that he attended Barack Obama’s 2008 Democratic convention. Eric Greitens, he isn’t who you think he is.
