“Ryan brings a wealth of experience in the private sector and in government, including in the Missouri Senate,” Onder said. “He will be a very valuable member of our team as we go into a truly transformative period in our state’s history.”

Nonnemaker served as Sen. Jason Crowell’s legislative director from 2009 to 2012. He also worked for the Missouri Senate Majority Caucus as the communication director and as policy director. His most recent work was with GoRail as a state director.

Nonnemaker takes over for Jennae Neustadt, who left the position to serve as Gov.-elect Eric Greitens’ legislative director.

“I am deeply appreciative of Jennae’s outstanding and loyal service to my constituents in the 2nd district, and to the state of Missouri these past two years,” Onder said in a statement issued Thursday. “I cannot say enough what an asset she will be to the Governor as together we work to take Missouri in a new direction.”
