Will Kraus Announces Successful 3rd Quarter Fundraising

Citizens for Will Kraus More than Doubles Cash-On-Hand

LEE’S SUMMIT – State Senator Will Kraus (R-Lee’s Summit) announced his 3rd Quarter 2014 fundraising numbers today.  Since the beginning of the quarter, Kraus has more than doubled his cash-on-hand with contributions from family, friends and other concerned Missouri residents, businesses and organizations.

“I am thrilled with the support my campaign has received,” said Sen. Kraus.  “Many of my constituents who have contributed in the past have stepped up again to support me both for my re-election to the state senate and for future races.”

Citizens for Will Kraus will report cash-on-hand of $274,000 as of September 30th.  That is more than double the committee’s cash levels on June 30th, the end of the last quarter.  Because Sen. Kraus is running for re-election to the senate, his 3rd Quarter numbers are spread over multiple reports to the Missouri Election Commission.  The committee filed 8 Day Before and 30 Day After reports for the August 5th Primary Election and those reports had already reflected the start of a solid quarter of fundraising.

“All told we were able to raise over $130,000 in supporter’s contributions over the quarter,” said Kraus. “Those numbers alone allowed me to meet my goal for the quarter.  I appreciate those that supported me so strongly, especially those that have been regular contributors over the years.”

Sen. Kraus has announced his intentions to run for Missouri Secretary of State in 2016.
