Short, sweet, and to the point: Commission approves two orders
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Only two orders appeared before the Missouri Public Service Commission on Wednesday, as the majority of their work centered around the ongoing hearing for Empire District Electric’s customer savings plan.
Both orders were approved within the 12-minute agenda meeting.
First on the docket in the weekly agenda meeting was a report and order in the case for Gascony Water Company’s request for an increase, which the commission approved. (Read the full report and order here.)
The other order concerned Ameren Missouri’s fuel and purchased power adjustment charge.
The commission approved an adjustment which would result in the FAC will increase by approximately $2.07 a month, from $0.27 a month to $2.34 a month for a residential customer using 1,015 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity per month. The change is expected to take effect during the June billing month.
