Missouri vs. Illinois: Legislators face off in first-ever softball matchup

   

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Who is the top dog on the ballfield?

Missouri and Illinois legislators will look to answer that question in the first ever Missouri vs. Illinois Bi-State Softball Showdown.

Members of the General Assembly from both states will play ball to celebrate the bipartisan and bi-state cooperation at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium.

Spectators are invited to watch the game from th Bowtie Bar, which will provide concessions at no cost.

The event, sponsored by the St. Louis Regional Chamber, Anheuser-Busch, Rawlings, and the St. Louis Cardinals, is set to take place on Thursday, June 14.

The event is scheduled to run from 12 to 4 p.m., with th first pitch taking place at 1 p.m.
