Richardson honored with Legacy Award by St. Louis Regional Chamber

ST. LOUIS — Following the first ever legislative softball game between Missouri and Illinois — where the Show-Me State took home bragging rights and the trophy — the St. Louis Regional Chamber of Commerce held an awards reception.

During the 2018 Chamber Champions Award Reception, legislative and civic leaders were recognized for their support of the Chamber’s legislative priorities in the regular session.

Civic Progress Executive Director Tom Irwin was honored with the Regional Leadership Award.

The Legacy Award was given to Missouri Speaker of the House Todd Richardson and Illinois Senator James F. Clayborne, Jr.

Illinois Representative Katie Stuart was honored with this year’s Catalyst Award.

The Champion Award was presented to: House Minority Floor Leader Gail McCann Beatty, Speaker Pro Tem Elijah Haahr, House Majority Floor Leader Rob Vescovo, Richardson, Senate Minority Leader Gina Walsh, Senate Majority Floor Leader Mike Kehoe, Senate President Ron Richard, Sen. Caleb Rowden, Illinois Rep. Monica Bristow, and Illinois Sen. Elgie R. Sims, Jr.

Honored with an Advocate Award was Rep. Mike Kelley, Sen. Mike Cierpiot, Sen. Andrew Koenig, Rep. Peter Merideth, Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, Rowden, Haahr, Rep. Tom Hannegan, Rep. Greg Razer, Sen. Brian Munzlinger, Rep. Glen Kolkmeyer, Sen. Dave Schatz, Rep. Kevin Corlew,  Illinois Sen. Heather Steans, Illinois Rep. Jay Hoffman, and Illinois Rep. LaToya Greenwood.
