This Week in the Governor’s Office: Week of July 30, 2018

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri Governor Mike Parson might have spent the weekend taking in a little fun and throwing out the first pitch at the St. Louis Cardinals game on Saturday, but the rest of the week has seen the governor all across the state for various meetings.

Over the past few days, Parson has been to meeting after meeting, spending time with constituents all across Missouri.

Parson kicked off his tour this week by speaking at the 57th Annual Cooperative Conference for School Administrators, held in Osage Beach at the Tan-Tar-A Resort.

That afternoon, he hit the road again to meet with Jasper County mayors at the Joplin City Hall.

On Wednesday, Parson kicked off the day by visiting the Missouri National Guard AVCRAD Facility in Springfield.

After that, he spoke at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon before hosting another roundtable meeting with rural county commissioners, which he met in Clinton, and met Cass County mayors that evening.

On Thursday, Parson spent the day in Kansas City, meeting with Mayor Sly James and making several visits in the area, including a stop at the famous Arthur Bryant’s for some barbecue.
