Parson, Schmitt, Richardson look at ways to deal with Medicaid fraud

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Gov. Mike Parson held a closed door meeting on Friday where he and a variety of stakeholders discussed a task force dedicated to dealing with Medicaid fraud.

In a press conference that followed, Parson said he learned that there is about $170 millions dollars currently owed to the state of Missouri.

Included in the meeting was incoming-Attorney General Eric Schmitt, MO HealthNet Direct Todd Richardson, Department of Social Services Director Steve Corsi, Department of Health and Senior Services Director Randall Williams.
