In expedited ballot, MHFRC approves MRI replacement

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — In an expedited certificate of need meeting, the Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee approved the replacement of an MRI unit and postponed action on another agenda item.

On Monday, the committee gave their stamp of approval for Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital to replace an MRI unit for $2,327,954.

The committee postponed acting on Sunshine Villa Homes’ request to add four assisted living facility beds to their Scott City, Missouri, facility. The request will be considered during the next full meeting scheduled to take place on May 6, 2019.
