Richard Stewart to fill vacancy as 21st circuit judge

A St. Louis County associate judge is stepping up as circuit judge.

On Wednesday, Gov. Mike Parson appointed Richard Stewart as Circuit Judge for the 21stJudicial Circuit. Stewart will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Maura B. McShane.

Stewart, of Webster Groves, is an Associate Circuit Judge in St. Louis County. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri- Columbia and a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.

Judge Stewart lives in St. Louis County with his wife of 27 years, Kristina and his four children.
