Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway announces bid for HD 115

FESTUS, Mo. — Today, Cyndi Buchheit-Courtway announced her intention to seek the Republican nomination to serve as the next State Representative for Missouri’s 115th House District seat in 2020. The current state representative, Elaine Gannon, will be terming out, leaving the seat open.

“I want to be a representative of the People, listening to their needs and helping them through issues and situations involving state government,” said Buchhiet-Courtway. She continued, “I will work to bring more sustainable jobs to our district and to make sure our schools are preparing students for the careers of tomorrow.”

Buchheit-Courtway is a graduate of Jefferson College in Hillsboro and is currently employed at Mercy Hospital Jefferson; she previously worked for 13 years at Buchheit, Inc. For the past few election cycles, Cyndi has worked to elect Republicans to numerous offices. She has been a member of both the Jefferson County Republican Central Committee and the Jefferson County Republican Club, serving on the executive board of each. Cyndi is also a member of the Jefferson County Federated Republican Women and the Ste. Genevieve Republican Club.

Buchheit-Courtway currently resides in Festus with her husband David, where they are members of First Baptist Church of Festus/Crystal City. Cyndi stays active by being involved with the 67 Gun Club, the Jefferson County Community Emergency Response Team, the Festus- Crystal City Conservation Club, and teaching and working with children and youth in various church groups.
