JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Katie Casas, principal at the Gate Way Group, will be joining the Dentons lobbying team on August 1.
“I really enjoyed my time at The Gate Way Group and I am very excited about joining the great team at Dentons,” Casas said. “This opportunity will give me the opportunity to focus on lobbying and government relations which is what I am passionate about and want to dedicate my career to.”
Dentons, one of the fastest growing and most influential lobbying networks in the country, is currently manned by Rodney Boyd, Brian Grace, and Kelvin Simmons.

Casas started with the Gate Way Group in 2014. She has served as the state director for CEAM – Children’s Education Alliance of Missouri – since 2011. Previously, Casas was a campaign strategist and teacher.
Casas was featured as one of 30 Women Changing Politics by the Missouri Times.
Rachael Herndon was the editor at The Missouri Times and also produced This Week in Missouri Politics, published Missouri Times Magazine, and co-hosted the #MoLeg podcast. She joined The Missouri Times in 2014, returning to political reporting after working as a campaign and legislative staffer.
Rachael studied at the University of Missouri – Columbia. She lives in Jefferson City with her husband, Brandon, and their two children.
