Electric and gas customers will see an increase on their bills beginning Feb. 28, 2022, increasing Ameren’s annual revenues for electric services by $220 million and gas by $5 million overall.

The PSC approved Empire District Electric Company’s first round of programs under Missouri’s clean energy investment policies Wednesday.

Pre-filing for next session began Wednesday, with several bills on utility regulation, safety, and clean energy generation on deck for 2022.
