Kinder reports his largest amount raised yet in first quarter

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder filed and released his April quarterly report for Missourians for Peter Kinder on Thursday, showing his largest haul yet in his campaign for governor..

The report showed Kinder raised more than $328,000 during the first quarter of 2016 and has $624,521 in cash on hand. Not only is it the strongest quarter so far, it also has the most amount of donors – 410 – for one cycle.

“I’m beyond grateful by the outpouring of support from all corners of Missouri,” Kinder said. “From my longtime supporters to many first time contributors – the encouragement and momentum that our campaign has received has been astounding and humbling.

“Thus far, we have raised more each quarter than the one before,” he said. “Voters across the state are joining my fight to restore Missouri’s values, economy and reputation. They want a conservative for governor whom they trust to lead them from the front lines and whom they know has been in the trenches with them on every key conservative victory in recent history. I’m honored to have earned their trust and will continue fighting for Missouri and the vibrant future we know is possible.”
