MOGOP Touts Grassroots Strength Heading into Supreme Court Saturday

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Republican Party is touting its grassroots strength heading into their Supreme Court Saturday event this weekend. MOGOP has consistently posted strong grassroots numbers, and is continuing to expand their operations heading into November.

This cycle, MOGOP has made hundreds of thousands of voter contacts, which entails knocking on doors and making phone calls, and has 12 offices across the state, with plans to open more soon. Additionally, 45 full time staff aid their efforts to knock on as many doors possible until November. MOGOP is also gearing up for their Supreme Court Saturday this weekend, a canvassing event that will focus on talking to voters about Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Claire McCaskill’s refusal to announce her vote on his nomination.

Alex Meyer, Missouri State Director for the RNC, said, “Building a strong grassroots network, investing in training, and the hard work of a dedicated Neighborhood Teams have been crucial to our success so far in Missouri.”

Meyer continued, “Every day, we have staff and volunteers out in the field talking to voters, and our message is certainly resonating with people across the state. Each of our events have been a huge success, and our Supreme Court Saturday should be no different. Heading into November, we’ll be aiming to build on this success, expand our efforts, and continue to talk to voters across the state in order to defeat Claire McCaskill and elect Republicans up and down the ballot.”
