Today Taylor Burks announced his campaign has surpassed $1 million cash on hand, a major milestone that underscores the growing momentum behind his campaign for Missouri’s 5th Congressional District.
The campaign’s strong fundraising performance reflects a surge of grassroots support from conservatives across Missouri who are rallying behind Burks’ message of America First leadership, fiscal responsibility, and defending Missouri values.
“Reaching this milestone is a testament to the strength of our Boots-on-the-Ground campaign,” said Burks. “Missourians are ready for new leadership, not career politicians, and they’re stepping up to help us take this fight to Washington.”
Burks, a U.S. Navy veteran and former Boone County Clerk, has built his campaign on a record of service and results — from multiple deployments overseas to cutting waste and saving taxpayers nearly half a million dollars in local office.
Burks has continued to earn endorsements from a wide range of respected federal, state, and local leaders across Missouri, demonstrating strong support throughout the district. “The world is a dangerous place, where American resolve is so important to saving countless lives across the globe,” said former Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler. “The new conflict in Iran shows that we need tested leadership. I firmly believe that Taylor has the judgment and experience we need to keep America strong, safe, and secure.”
New endorsements include Cooper County Commissioners Gary Kammerich and Danny Larm, Prosecuting Attorney Eric Phelps, Treasurer Teresa Brandes; Randolph County Sheriff Andy Boggs, former Treasurer Penny Henry; Dr. Lisa Gore, Boone County GOP (BCRCC) Chair; Dawn Wright, Jackson County GOP (JCRCC) Vice Chair; and Matt Nichols, Columbia Police Officers Association (CPOA) President. These leaders join three dozen elected officials across the district in supporting the Burks for Congress campaign.
