Press Release: Grocers Day at the Capitol is Wednesday

The Missouri Grocers Association is hosting their annual Missouri Grocers Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. The association will begin the day at 7:30 a.m. with a legislative breakfast followed a busy morning meeting with the legislators. We will conclude the event with an ice cream social in the third floor rotunda at 11:30 am.

During the event, we are hosting the second annual Project: Grocers Can. The grocers will be inviting their legislators to bag a sack of groceries with them. The bags will then be donated to the Samaritan Center in Jefferson City.
