ST. LOUIS – State Rep. Joshua Peters will join a panel of his peers on the national Fox & Friends morning show to discuss the issues facing the Millenial Generation. Peters will join two other young legislators for an appearance Wednesday, Mar. 19 on the show that airs each morning from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the Fox News network.
Peters will serve as the Democrat on the panel. Marilinda Garcia, a state representative from New Hampshire, will represent the Republican Party and Matt Bogusz, the mayor of Des Plaines, Illinois, will represent Independents. All three were selected by the show as rising political stars of the Millenial Generation. As part of the panel they will discuss the biggest issues facing their generation as well share their advice for the young people of today.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to represent my generation and the Democratic Party as we talk about some of the major issues facing us as we look to the future. These are important issues we are discussing as a panel and I am excited to sit down and have an honest dialogue about where we are heading as a nation, and where we need to go,” said Peters, D-St. Louis.
