PSC looks ahead to busy April

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) met today for their regularly scheduled agenda meeting. The meeting was short and light with a few jokes made, but scheduling showed a busy month upcoming.

Evidentiary hearings for the Empire Electric case start on April 8. The case, ER-2014-0351, regards Empire Electric’s authority to file tariffs to increase electric service rates.

Kansas City Power & Light’s tariff case will also be undergoing discovery the week of April 8 and public hearings are scheduled for April 23, 28, and 29. Over 50 public comments have been filed on the case.

Evidentiary hearings for Laclede Gas’ case will start the week of April 20. Laclede is seeking to have a change approved to their ISRS rate schedule in order to provide for the recovery of the eligible infrastructure system investments.

Next week’s agenda meeting will take place Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., but the next meeting will be Friday, April 10 at noon.
