Release: Kander Certifies Results for House District 78

Jefferson City, Mo. — Secretary of State Jason Kander today certified the results of the September 16 special election in House District 78. Official election results can be viewed athttp://enr.sos.mo.gov/EnrNet/.

Nearly 3,000 registered voters turned out to nominate a candidate for the November general election. Bruce Franks received 2,235 votes for the Democratic nomination, and Penny Hubbard received 701 votes.
