RELEASE: Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson attends National Lieutenant Governors Association 2017 Business Meeting

(SAN DIEGO, CA) – Lieutenant Governor Mike Parson is attending the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) 2017 Business Meeting this week in San Diego, CA with other lieutenant governors from around the country.

“It’s always a privilege to be with my fellow lieutenant governors and exchange ideas and insights on how we can best serve our constituents and benefit our respective states and the nation as a whole,” said Lieutenant Governor Parson, who serves on the NLGA’s Executive Committee as Midwest Member At-Large. “Working as a team will continue to help move Missouri in the right direction when it comes to improving our infrastructure, educating our workforce, providing for our seniors and veterans, and increasing tourism.”

The NLGA recently featured Lieutenant Governor Parson’s Buy Missouri initiative in its first Member Spotlight media release, saying that the program is “a win-win for Missouri companies and consumers” and that “it is an exciting time for Missouri!” (http://mailchi.mp/bb1f4bc9dfbd/spotlight-lt-gov-mike-parson-encourages-mo-to-buy-local)
