Ruth named to Executive Board of the Women’s Legislative Network of NCSL

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri Rep. Becky Ruth has been selected to serve as a Midwestern Regional representative on the Executive Board of the Women’s Legislative Network of the National Conference of State Legislatures.

“It is truly an honor to have been selected to represent our region and women in the legislature,” Ruth said. “I am excited for this opportunity to participate in national-level discussion on issues and empowering women to lead. I look forward to representing Missouri and the Midwest and working with the Network to further promote the importance of women leading in our government.”

The Women’s Legislative Network of NCSL is the professional development organization that includes every female state legislator in the 50 states, United States territories, and the District of Columbia.

The Network is governed by a 15-member board of directors that is politically and regionally balanced, with two representatives from both parties in each of the four regions.

As a member of the Women’s Legislative Network, Ruth will work with her colleagues to promote the participation, empowerment, and leadership of women legislators through workshops, informational meetings and interaction.
