JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Missouri’s Governor has had a busy week traveling to all corners of the Show-Me State in a support of infrastructure and workforce development.
Gov. Mike Parson kicked on his statewide tour advocating for the passage of Proposition D — an increase to the state motor fuel tax — in St. Louis on Tuesday and proceeded to hit twelve more cities by weeks end.
“Missouri’s infrastructure needs are long overdue, and before a tragedy occurs, now is the time to take action,” Parson said. “Prop D’s gradual implementation, constitutionally protected revenues, and regular audits will help to ensure the money will go where it is required to go. That is why I strongly support Prop D.”
