The Missouri Times: tell us about the campaign team.

Catherine Hanaway: We have put together a capable team that includes and the most proven grassroots profs in MO.

The Missouri Times: Give us 3 things you will accomplish as governor?

Catherine Hanaway: As Gov, I will have 4 priorities: better quality jobs, better schools, better roads and protecting the Constitution.

The Missouri Times: You’ve mentioned that a lot of Missourians aren’t happy with what is coming out of this building. What did you mean by that?

Catherine Hanaway: The legislature is being forced to play small ball because the Governor is not leading them to pass meaningful reforms to bring sustained economic growth to Missouri.

The Missouri Times: Recently the media exploded w/ glee about a misstatement over the term “sexual permissiveness”. What were you trying got say?

Catherine Hanaway: I spoke about two separate issues and some wanted drew conclusions I did not make. As I have my entire career, I plan to continue fighting against those who intend to harm our children.

The Missouri Times: You’ve received a great deal of legislative endorsements what do you attribute that to?

Catherine Hanaway: I believe the legislators see my past skills as being indicative of the type of leadership qualities I can bring to the table as Governor

The Missouri Times: Your opponent has referred to corruption in Jeff City. Do you believe him and if so can you tell us who is corrupt?

Catherine Hanaway: I don’t know who is corrupt. I’d ask the same question. The Auditor’s job is to find corruption. Would like to see specific examples.

The Missouri Times: Did you have any reservations before taking such a large contribution from Mr. Sinquefield?

Catherine Hanaway: I supported lower taxes and better schools before Rex moved back to Missouri. I hope everyone who supports lower taxes and better schools supports me.

The Missouri Times: Ok, are you up for a little word association?
