TWMP: Sen. Paul Wieland and races for president and governor

On the installment of This Week in Missouri Politics that leads into spring break, host Scott Faughn welcomes Sen. Paul Wieland, R-Imperial, to the program to discuss Senate post-filibuster and previous question, the benefit of the break for clearer heads to prevail, and making amends between Senate Republicans and Democrats. They also discuss the decision to move to previous question, the importance of Missouri’s ports, and the GOP governor’s race.

On the panel, Faughn welcomes David Turner with the Missouri Democratic Party, Jeff Mazur of LaunchCode, state senate candidate and former Rep. Rick Stream, and KTRS political reporter Mark Zinn to talk about SJR 39 and the filibuster and previous question. They also discuss the presidential primary on both sides, including whether or not Hillary Clinton has the right support and having Donald Trump at the top of the Republican ticket, and the Greitens campaign’s fundraising scandal.
