Wasinger hits the TV waves with new ad

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The race to represent Missouri Republicans in the bid for the State Auditor’s seat continues to become a tight race as the August primary draws near, but one of the candidates is now taking the plunge on the airwaves.

David Wasinger put out his first television ad of the campaign, which began running this week.

In the ad, Wasinger shares his background, from growing up and attending law school, to taking on banks after the financial crisis.

Wasinger also mailed the ad out to his supporters, asking for donations and saying:

“As I traveled Missouri this year, one thing is clear – voters are hungry for leaders that are going to keep the politicians and un-elected bureaucrats accountable. As your Auditor, that will be my focus every day – stopping corruption and protecting your tax dollars.

“We need to get that message to voters before they cast their ballots. With the primary election only two weeks away, it’s important that we keep the ad on the air so we can talk to voters as they are making their decision.”

Wasinger faces a four-way primary against Rep. Paul Curtman, Saundra McDowell, and Kevin Roach on Aug. 7.
