Webber, Galloway will be keynote speakers at 46th Missouri Democrat Days

HANNIBAL, Mo. – Missouri Democrats will head to Hannibal this weekend for the 46th annual Democrat Days.

Taking place at the Hannibal Inn, the event is scheduled to run from Friday, March 3 to Saturday night, March 4.

Missouri Democratic Party Chairman Stephen Webber will be the featured speaker at the Saturday evening banquet, while State Auditor Nicole Galloway will speak during the Saturday brunch. Rep. Kip Kendrick, Cydney Mayfield, the Missouri Democratic Rural Caucus Chair, and former Lieutenant Governor Joe Maxwell will also be speaking at the event.

Democrat Days kicks off at 2 p.m. on Friday with an early-bird party located near the pool, with music from Mike Moore. At 6 p.m., there will be a fish fry, and the Cheeseburgers will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight.

Things will get kicked off on Saturday with coffee at 7:30 a.m., leading up to the 10 a.m. brunch with Galloway speaking.

Emily Waggoner and Michael Ousley will present a workshop Introduction to Campaigns from 1 to 2 p.m, and an auction will be held at 3 p.m.The banquet starts at 7 p.m. Rock-N-Roll Revival performs after the banquet until midnight.

It all caps off with the banquet, which will start at 7 p.m. Sen. Gina Walsh will deliver remarks, followed by Webber’s address.

Tickets for the entire weekend are $45. The brunch alone will cost $35, while tickets for just the banquet will run $40. If you prefer to register for the event without the brunch or banquet, the cost is $30.

Tickets can be purchased at the registration table on either day.
