Brunner tours state on final day
Businessman John Brunner took to sea and road on his final day trying to swing voters to his side. Brunner made or will make stops in Cape Girardeau, Springfield, Joplin, Kansas City, Columbia, and St. Louis in his “Get Out the Vote” efforts.

Greitens endorsed by Carson
Former Navy SEAL and author Eric Greitens touted support from a national figure in Dr. Ben Carson, the former candidate for president from the Republican Party. Carson and the Greitens campaign released the radio ad below that references national Democrats have spent significant sums of money attempting to influence the election.
On Sunday, Greitens released another television spot of him shooting a gun. It is a much larger gun than the one he used in his prior gun-related advertisement.

Like the other candidates, Greitens made appearances across the state Monday, stopping in most of the major towns and cities of the state before the final stop in St. Louis Monday evening. Greitens used a rented plane for the tour.
Opponents were quick to point out that the plane is owned by a Macon doctor charged with felony child abuse or neglect, which they say is part of an ongoing pattern with Greitens. Earlier this year he accepted a contribution from a man accused of keeping a sex slave.
The Greitens campaign said they knew nothing about the owner of the plane.
Greitens has been atop many recent polls in the month of July, and undoubtedly hopes to continue that momentum into Tuesday’s election.
Hanaway makes weekend push
Former House Speaker Catherine Hanaway has spent the last weekend working on her own “Get Out the Vote” efforts. On Saturday, she toured the Northern Missouri towns of Hannibal, Macon, Moberly and St. Joseph. Sunday, she held a large event in St. Louis and Monday, she will be in Springfield, Joplin, and Kansas City before returning to St. Louis.

Kinder heads back to his roots
In the last hours, Kinder wraps up some of his duties as lt. governor, distributing service awards, with a huge social media push and tour as he prepares to head to Cape Girardeau to vote on Tuesday and end with a victory party in Cape Girardeau at Cape Port Girardeau.
