The program is designed to give seniors and WIC participants in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and the Mid-Missouri area access to fresh produce that would normally not be available nor affordable.

For Missouri teachers, the app would make the process of reporting armed intruders faster and more efficient. One touch of a button on the app sends an alert out with no phone call necessary.

According to a study by the CDC, national reported cases in 2018 totaled 3,621. The CDC's estimate of the actual number of nationwide cases was 50,300.
Show Me The Cure is a new state program working to close the gap between cases reported and actual cases. The program is Missouri's first ever initiative to eliminate hepatitis C.
"Those who earn too little to pay income taxes aren't a part of this, they're paying other taxes, they're contributing to general revenue, but they're left entirely out of this," Traci Gleason, a spokesperson for the Missouri Budget Project said.
