10:00 Hour

The House gavelled in at 10:00 a.m.

The journal was approved.

Introduction of special guests.

Reports from Committee.

Rep. Jones moved that SS SB 1421, A.A., E.C. be third read and passed.

14 House Amendments were added.


11:00 Hour

10 more House Amendments were added to the bill.


12:00 Hour

7 more House Amendments were added to the bill.


1:00 Hour 

5 more House Amendments were added to the bill

One amendment was point of ordered and was taken off of the floor.

7 more House Amendments were added to the bill after the point of order.

Rep. Wolfin spoke on the bill, specifically about the bill has deviated in it’s purpose and may violate the Missouri constitution. Multiple other Representatives spoke on the bill as well.

43  Amendments were added in total, including amendments to the amendments. 

SS SB 1421, A.A., E.C. was passed with 83 Yay, 63 Nay, 1 Present. 

Multiple Representatives spoke on emergency clause.

The emergency clause was passed 112 Yay and 25 Nay.

The House moved that the House refuse to recede from its position on HCS SB 1408, A.A. and grant the Senate a conference thereon. The motion passed.

Rep. Hurlbert moved that SB 1629 be third read and passed. Multiple Representatives spoke on the bill. SB 1629 passed 142 Yays and 0 Nays.

Rep. Taylor moved that SCS SB 959 be third read and passed. Multiple Representatives spoke on the bill. SCS SB 959 passed 126 Yays and 16 Nays.


2:00 Hour 

Rep. Gragg moved that SB 1119 be third read and passed. Multiple Representatives spoke on the bill. SB 1119 passed 103 Yays and 24 Nays.
