The Senate gavelled in at 4:10 p.m.

Senator  Luetkemeyer moved to dispense the reading of the journal.

Senator Fitzwater inquired of Senator Henderson to introduce a special guest.

Senator May was recognized to bring attention to the importance of the date, May 4th.

Senator Moon was recognized for a point of personal privilege.

Senator Coleman was recognized to introduce a special guest.

The journal was approved.

Senator Luetkemeyer moved for Reports of Standing Committees.

Senator Brattin sent forward a report from the Committee on Education.

Senator Luetkemeyer sent forward a report from the Committee on Rules and Ethics.

Senator Bean sent forward a report from the Committee on Agriculture.

Senator Trent sent forward a report from the Committee on General Laws.

Senator Brown (26) sent forward a report from the Committee on Economic Development.

Senator Henderson sent forward a report from the Committee on Local Government.

Senator Luetkemeyer inquired of any messages from the House.

Messages from the House were read.

Senator Burger was recognized for a privileged motion on SB 1408.

Senator Burger renewed his motion.

The motion was approved.

The Senate moved to the order of Announcements.

The Senate adjourned at 4:33 p.m.
