JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The managing partner of the Gate Way Group has announced his decision to move to the largest government relations firm in the state.

David Jackson, who has made a name for himself after working for over a decade at Pelopidas under Travis Brown, will now work as a lobbyist for Gamble and Schlemeier. Jackson has worked for Pelopidas since he was 19-years-old, making him the youngest registered lobbyist in Missouri history.

For founding partner Jorgen Schlemeier, Jackson was an easy choice to bring onto the team. He has been recognized often as an ambitious government relations experts in the state and has received accolades from multiple publications, including The Missouri Times for being one of the “Top 100 People to Know” in Missouri politics.

“David’s depth of expertise in managing issues, clients, and legislative relationships will be extremely
valuable in serving our firm’s diverse client portfolio,” Schlemeier said in a statement. “He knows how to build relationships and win public policy battles in a term-limited legislative environment.”

Jackson was quick to credit the firm he is departing with giving him the experience necessary to work under Schlemeier.

“I take great pride in my years at Pelopidas and will always credit Travis and my colleagues for helping me grow professionally,” Jackson said in a statement. “It’s because of that experience that I now have this opportunity to join the top-ranked lobbying firm in Missouri.”
