Speaker-elect Diehl Announces 100 Great Ideas for Missouri Initiative

Effort seeks to foster new, innovative ideas from Missourians for upcoming legislative session

ST. LOUIS, Mo – Missouri House Majority Leader and Speaker-elect John Diehl, Jr., R-Town and Country, has launched a new initiative called the 100 Great Ideas for Missouri. The initiative is an effort to encourage citizen involvement in state government by seeking new, innovate ideas from the people of Missouri about how to improve our state.  Citizens are encouraged to visit the campaign’s website, 100GreatIdeasForMissouri.org to submit their ideas.

“The 100 Great Ideas for Missouri initiative is an effort to cultivate new, innovative ideas about how to improve government from those that know best; the people of Missouri,” Diehl said. “With innovation moving Missouri’s farms, factories and family businesses forward, it is time we use those same creative solutions to improve the way our state government works.  I am looking forward to listening to the people of Missouri about how they believe we can best ensure economic opportunity for our state’s future.”

The initiative will include events across the state in the coming weeks.  For more information, visit http://100GreatIdeasForMissouri.org, follow us on Twitter at @100GreatIdeasMO or ‘Like’ us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/100IdeasForMO.
