JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The General Assembly schedules for Tuesday have been altered to accommodate for the funeral of Missouri State Auditor Tom Schweich.
There will be no committee hearings Tuesday for either the Senate or the House, the exception being the House Budget committee and the House Ways and Means Committees.
Both the House and the Senate will go into session at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Schweich’s funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Michael and St. George in the St. Louis suburb of Clayton, where the late auditor was a member.
Rachael Herndon was editor of The Missouri Times until 2019. She also produced This Week in Missouri Politics, published Missouri Times Magazine, and co-hosted the #MoLeg podcast.
